Lisa Bolden, MS - CEO & Director
Lisa Bolden is committed to her local community and is passionate about education, advocacy, and supporting under-served youth and families. She was recognized as Edward Bain School of Language and Art-Creative Arts employee of the month 2023. Dean of Student in 2020/21. She was also inducted into National Honor Society in 2021 from University of Phoenix- Academic Graduate Admission Committee.
Lisa Bolden earned a Master of Science in Psychology Work at University of Phoenix. She promotes a sense of belonging, supporting positive social and emotional relationships, and enabling families and professionals to gain advocacy skills that positively affect the life of every female.

Kenosha has been my home for over 20 years. In that time, I've owned a small business geared towards mothers and children and completed my degree in Special Education. I then taught in a title I elementary school as a Special Education teacher. I still teach and have added Realtor to my job titles. I love being a part of Kenosha where I can support families and serve our community with Girls Matter too!

Alexandra Villalobos, Owner of AVents, rentals and coordination in Kenosha, WI. I am passionate about fostering collaborative relationships where mutual growth and support thrive. Committed to empowering young female minds and cultivating genuine connections while remaining focused on being a solid resource to those in our community. Shaina Tolefree-Social Media
Shaina Tolefree received her Bachelor’s in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, as well as a Masters in Education from Concordia University. She currently holds a Wisconsin issued Lifetime teaching license. Tolefree is currently an employee with Kenosha Unified School district. During her time in the district, she has served in a variety of roles including classroom teacher, special education teacher, and social and emotional intervention specialist. Prior to joining the district, Tolefree was a manager of a residential based mental health facility for adults with mental health issues and traumatic brain injuries, as well as an ABA line therapist for students with ASD.
Marci Carmickle-Treasurer
Married for 22 years to my favorite person, John Carmickle. We have seven beautiful children, and blessed with two grandbabies. I have worked at KUSD for 6 years, and my husband and I have owned a small construction business for over 20 years.
Vanessa Lundgren-Fundraising Committee
I have two children and two granddaughters. I hold a Masters Degree in Educational Administration from UW Superior. I have been working with children for over 22 years. I have been employed with the Kenosha Unified School District for 16 years working primarily with students who have special needs. My current position with KUSD is Social Emotional Learning Interventionist.
Alexis Morris-Hiring Committee
Alexis Morris is a Kenosha native and a dedicated educator of seventeen years. Throughout her career she has worked with youth at all age levels. During her time as a behavioral interventionist, she supported and advocated for at risk teen girls. Alexis’ extensive leadership skills has led into her current role of assistant principal, where she currently serves students and families of the Kenosha Unified School District. Alexis is a loving wife (Brandon Morris) and a devoted mother of two (Mikail Harmison -18 and Layali Morris -8). She enjoys going to the gym, dining out and spending time with family and friends
